At Embroidery Trend Studio, we take great pride in the quality of our digital embroidery designs. Because all of our products are digital files delivered immediately upon purchase, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Digital Product Policy
All products sold on embroiderytrend.com are digital downloads. Once a purchase is completed and the download link has been accessed, the sale is considered final. We are unable to issue refunds simply because a customer has changed their mind, as the digital product cannot be “returned.”
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this digital product policy.
2. When We DO Issue Refunds
We will happily issue a full refund or replacement in the following situations:
- The file is corrupted, damaged, or cannot be opened after multiple download attempts
- The design you received is significantly different from what was shown and described on the product page
- You were charged multiple times for the same order due to a technical error
- Your download link expired before you had a chance to access it and we are unable to restore access
- You accidentally purchased the same design twice — please contact us within 7 days with proof of both orders
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following situations:
- You changed your mind after downloading the file
- You purchased the wrong size but the correct size was clearly listed on the product page
- The design did not meet personal artistic preferences
- Your machine is unable to read the file due to hardware or software limitations on your end
- You do not have an embroidery machine or embroidery software capable of using the files
- The request is made more than 30 days after the purchase date
4. How to Request a Refund

- A clear description of the problem
- Screenshots or photos of the issue (strongly recommended)
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days. The credit will be returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Store Credit Option
In some cases where a refund cannot be issued (such as a duplicate purchase or a design that doesn’t fit a specific machine model), we may offer store credit instead. Store credit never expires and can be used toward any future purchase on embroiderytrend.com.
7. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us first before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving any issue quickly and fairly. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension and can take weeks to resolve — reaching out to us directly is always faster.
8. Changes to This Policy
Embroidery Trend Studio reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
